Yardup Cottage

Built in the early 1900s, Yardup Cottage is a small and charming, self-contained, two-bedroom homestead situated on our family farm. The cottage has been home to three generations of our family.

After sitting idle since the 1970s, it was restored by Richard’s mother Sally Milne in 1993, and has been open for guests to enjoy as short stay accommodation ever since.

Complete with kitchen, bathroom and cosy lounge, the cottage is an ideal rural getaway for a couple (or two) looking to experience all that the Great Southern region has to offer.

In the warmer months the quaint front verandah makes the perfect spot to sit with a cuppa and a book, taking in the unspoiled views of the Stirling Ranges. When winter sets in, time is better spent in front of the wood fire with a glass of Great Southern Pinot Noir.

You will have the cottage entirely to yourself with peace and privacy to enjoy the wide open spaces all around you.

Please note:

Yardup Cottage is not suitable for children.

Yardup Cottage is fully self catered - we do not provide any meals so please be sure to bring all your groceries.

We encourage you to relax and switch off during your stay. There is no Wi-Fi.

Mobile phone service may be limited depending on your carrier - we use Telstra.
